Quant Developer - London - up to £70,000 A technology business is looking to hire a Quant Developer to their team of analysts and help build their infrastructure and code base for mathematical modelling. They need someone with strong experience in statistical and mathematical modelling; someone who is able to build and implement complex algorithms and code; and someone who can lead the team and establish best practise for modelling processes. They provide technological solutions to the betting industry, using their modelling skills for predictive analytics Responsibilities Apply modelling techniques on large data sets to generate highly predictive outcomes Build mathematical model prototypes and then implement them Lead the team in the design and structure of libraries for research and production purposes Revise and implement changes & improvements to existing models Develop data visualisations and reporting service Help the quant team with reviewing code Requirements Strong Python knowledge (especially NumPy, Pandas, Sci-kit learn) Programming knowledge in Matlab/C#/C++ SQL Strong statistical analysis capability The Company This business is a flourishing start up with a strong team of analysts and data scientists that need another team member to help continue delivering excellent service to their clients.
