Overview

On behalf of a market leading business I am recruiting for a Permanent Senior Payroll Specialist to join their expanding payroll department. Client Details My client has a large payroll department with many different avenues to develop your payroll career, they are based centrally in Croydon and are close to all major transport links. Description The successful applicant for this Senior Payroll Specialist role will be responsible for the following: Maintain a portfolio of client payrolls Ensure all starters, leavers, benefits and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made Calculate leavers pay when leaving mid-month Calculation of statutory payments Process P45 forms Print and sort payslips for distribution Run payroll reports Ensure monthly salary payment for client payrolls are transferred to the correct accounts in a timely manner Respond to client queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner Deal with HMRC correspondence enquiries Maintain an up to date client status schedule Deal with general administrative duties Profile The successful Senior Payroll Specialist will have the following; A strong work ethic and willingness to assist other members of the team when required. Able to multi-task and to prioritise payroll workload Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Have a knowledge of changes to legislation which effect payroll Confident and competent in dealing with clients Have a working knowledge of MS Office and payroll software(Payrite) Good time keeping/punctuality Job Offer Excellent salary and benefits package.
