Overview
Electronics Test Technician £Salary negotiable plus benefits Working in a friendly and dynamic Electronics company based in Peterborough. Our client is looking to expand their team and has a super opportunity for a skilled Electronics Test Technician. The Test Technician will be testing high end products. This will involve an element of systems built & testing. Fault finding to component level is essential, working closely with the development team to find solutions to PCB faults and equipment faults. The role requires someone who has flexible, hands on approach and willingness to develop the role through further training. Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Test Technician include: Testing of products. Loading and testing of relevant software to meet customer's specifications. Fault find and repair products and PCB's at component level. Provide technical feedback to improve product quality. Provide feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions. Provide necessary information to support supplier returns of faulty products. Ability to rework SMT to a high standard. Skills and Experience for the Electronics Test Technician: Experience within test electronics manufacturing environment The reading of mechanical & electrical schematic drawings Fault Finding to Component Level Computer literate with knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook. Experience working in a ISO9001 quality standards company. IPC awareness and understanding A Self-motivated person who is has a flexible approach to tasks. Ability to multi-task, Helpful and willing Takes responsibility for completion of tasks with attention to detail Positive and enthusiastic and Reliable.
