Overview
Senior Payroll Clerk Location: Bolton Salary: 25K 12 month contract with a high possibility of the role being made permanent Can be flexible on hours Our client are a high growth business based in Bolton. We have worked with this business for a number of years and have placed 4 people with them. Due to the growth they are experiencing they are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their Finance team on 12 month contract with a strong possibility of the role being made permanent. To be considered for this role you MUST have end to end Payroll experience and have had exposure to year end duties. Role: Processing the end to end Payroll for 50 salaried employees Processing the end to end Payroll for 180 hour paid employees Submitting year end reports Completion of the year end P60's, P11D's, and year end Payroll requirements Completion of year end PAYE Settlement Agreements Monitoring and processing holiday and sickness pay Checking the information collated for the Payroll is correct and investigating any discrepancies Dealing with a high number of queries Liaising with HMRC and following procedures Processing new starters and leavers Purchase Ledger - inputting and processing Purchase invoices in a timely manner Supplier statement reconciliations Improving the systems which are already in place Assisting the wider Finance team when required Essential Requirements: Have at least 3 years end to end Payroll experience Exposure to year end duties SAGE50 Payroll experience desirable Able to work in a fast paced environment Have strong attention to detail If you are interested in this role please send your CV to for immediate consideration.
