Job Title: Payroll Assistant Location: Plymouth Salary: £18,000- £25,000 Reference Number: 14640 Payroll Administrator Job Description: Recruit UK are working with a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Plymouth who are looking to take on an experienced Payroll Administrator. You will be responsible for the accurate issuing of pay to employees by calculating their earnings and deductions in accordance with the established payroll practices and guidelines. The role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9-5pm. This is a real opportunity to join a well-established chartered firm that has an excellent set of values and company culture. Previous experience of working in Payroll is advantageous however the clients may consider candidates without, if they are an educated, confident professional who is analytical and able to work well under pressure. Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative in delivering an excellent service to clients. Able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines Good written and communication skills Calm and efficient under pressure, with the ability to respond to client enquiries promptly, accurately and efficiently.
