Overview
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Vacancy for a packaging company based out of Burnley on a days based week. Your new company Your new company are established providers of production equipment for a numerous amount of different industries ranging from E-cigarettes to Food and Healthcare. They mainly specialise in the design, production and maintenance of packaging equipment. Your new role You will be providing maintenance on electrical machines and equipment as well as panel building. Mechanical and pneumatic work on the packaging machines will be a part of your new role, however you will mainly be maintaining electrical equipment. You will also carry out site work for the company's customers who require your services. You will be working Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 with Friday hours being 08:30 - 15:00. Lunch breaks will be 30 minutes. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will need experience of carrying out maintenance of electrical and pneumatic machinery. PLC Programming is desirable for this role. A willingness to learn is beneficial and a background in the packaging industry would aid you in succeeding in this role. A driving license is required due to the need to attend site work. What you'll receive You will receive a competitive salary between £26,000 - £32,000 DOE. This includes 24 holiday days and 8 bank holidays. There is potential for overtime in busy periods where you will receive increased pay.
