Overview
We are working on behalf of a successful supplier of fashion who are recruiting an Import Merchandiser to work with Ladies Occasionwear. The Responsibilities of the Import Merchandiser will Include: ·Manage the critical path and co-ordinate the sample process with the factories in the Far East and ensure orders are delivered on time. · Get samples and lab dips approved · Liaise with the other in-house teams to meet customers’ specific requirements. · Work closely with the design team and account managers to develop products in line with keytrends and customer needs. The Ideal Import Merchandiser will be a target driven yet work well within a team and should demonstrates examples where initiative is used to resolve issues that arrive. The Import Merchandiser must demonstrate experience within a similar role related to the fashion industry.
