Production Shift Manager Telford Permanent £28,000 - £32,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) 4 on 4 off – days and nights We are working with an established and client based in Telford. It is an exciting time to join a business that is enjoying growth and has big plans for expansion. They are looking to recruit for a Shift Manager, to oversee the production activities for their allocated shift. This will involve managing a large team of people, improving production output and ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to. The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for: Managing the production team and working to improve their performance Monitoring production progress throughout the shift Carrying out personal development reviews and setting targets Ensuring the departments are meeting health and safety regulations Performing regular checks throughout the shift for hazards and general housekeeping Improving the production efficiencies Implementing lean principles Skills and Experience Previous experience in a Shift Manager / Production Supervisor / Team Leader / Production Manager role will be essential Good working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives ILM or NVQ qualification in management would be advantageous, as would a recognised qualification within health and safety The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours .
