Overview

Due to a long serving member of the team being promoted to a senior role, this local authority is seeking an experienced social work to join their 0-25 Disabilities team. This local authority is committed to managing the safeguarding risk and promoting independence and well being of adults and older people. Forging a much closer relationship between adult social care workforce and community organisations, to improve the outcomes in the community. As part of your role you will be responsible for ensuring that children and young people and young adults are appropriately safeguarded and to offer advice about safeguarding signs. We are very interested to hear from those who believe they have the following attributes: Previous disabilities/transitions experience Understanding of the issues relating to children with disabilities or adults with learning difficulties Commitment to the participation of children, young people, young adults and their families both at an individual and service level Social Work England Registered This Local Authority has a Good Ofsted, which means you will be part of a very good environment that is focused on the quality of care delivered to the children and young adults.
