Overview
£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits Coventry, Warwickshire, West Midlands ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been retained by Lifeline Fire & Safety Systems Ltd to recruit a Company Accountant. The business is the market leader for fire and safety systems in the global motorsports and UK defence industries. They are constantly investing in the development and improvement of their products to keep in line with FIA Standards and to maintain their status as market leaders. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be joining a forward looking and innovative senior management team. The newly appointed Company Accountant will look after and accurately manage all financial functions of the business, manage the compliance of financial regulations, prepare accurate financial reports for the Directors and Auditors, prepare and pay salaries, champion best practice, monitor departmental budgets and drive quality. You will also be expected to conduct bank reconciliations, creditors and debtors reports, monthly profit and loss accounting, analysis of monthly sales by product type, credits raised, budget reports and analysis to identify areas for financial improvement. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with proven technical accounting experience within a face-paced environment and delivery of commercial and operational finance and accounting services. You will be an individual who enjoys a "can do" setting, providing a professional and positive presence.
