Kitchen Porter Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire £8.50 Full time/Part time/Flexible hrs available As a Kitchen Porter at Shipston Lodge Nursing Home , you'll value kindness above all. Our local, family-run Nursing Home requires a dedicated and conscientious individual to join our friendly team on a full-time/part time or flexible basis. In this role, you will be the key link between the main kitchen and the serving of food to our residents, visitors and staff with a full catering service. Kitchen Assistants must practice and uphold high levels of personal and working hygiene standards at all times, and exercise patience and understanding in the daily contact with residents. You will keep a close eye on stock rotation, complying to company policies and procedures and following all mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines. From time to time, you will assist with catering for special events and seasonal parties. Who we're looking for You may have experience of working in a food-service environment and preferably hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Confident, friendly and enthusiastic, you will really enjoy getting to know our residents and working as part of a close team. Experience is not essential; as we will support you with all the training and support you'll need to do the job. What is important to us is that you are a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who is interested in working in a close and friendly team. Flexibility to work alternate weekends is needed. Full-Time position up to £9.50ph
