The job Your role as Shift Production Manager is to lead, motivate and manage a production team of approximately 40 employees. You will be responsible for driving shift performance and team engagement to improve production standards, whilst meeting agreed daily, weekly and monthly targets and contributing to business goals. You will manage resource availability against the shift plan, coordinate maintenance activities, identify bottlenecks using lean techniques, maintain and continually improve agreed standards of quality plus actively drive GMP and Health & Safety standards. Your experience To be considered for the Shift Production Manager job, you will possess strong shift production management experience within a food & drink manufacturing environment. You will have good working knowledge of production KPI’s and possess a proven ability to motivate and foster a positive learning and working environment. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate where they have put improvements and processes in place and can identify improvement opportunities. Qualifications related to food safety, HACCP, GMP or lean manufacturing is highly desirable. The working hours will be a rotation of early, late and night shifts.
