Overview
Financial Controller / Finance Manager role in Somerset SME Your new company Somerset FMCG business with a well-established customer based and an in demand products. This is an ambitious and commercial SME business with appetite to further grow their market share. Your new role Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a varied and hands on Financial Controller position. Duties to include : Hands on ownership of the Finance function Weekly, monthly and annual reports to identify results and trends Financial forecasting, creating realistic projections, analysis and targets Management of cash flow Develop budgets and financial plans Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies Create systems and process to improve finance function and reporting What you'll need to succeed Ideally prior experience of owning finance function in and SME, gained in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Company Accountant role Ability to produce commercial management accounts Flexible approach to work coupled with ability to think on your feet Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
