Overview

My client, based in Northampton are seeking a 1st Line IT Support Assistant to join their expanding helpdesk. Key Responsibilities: • To provide first line IT support and to work with other members of the IT department in resolving day to day IT problems, ensuring that all queries are recorded and followed up as necessary • To log and maintain calls with both software and hardware maintenance providers ensuring that the calls are responded to within SLAs • When required, manage the leavers process with particular focus to closing down all associated system accounts, including on-line systems • Effectively monitor the status of incidents reported escalating to the Service Desk Team Leader as necessary to ensure interruptions to service are resolved in a timely manner • Produce good quality documentation and written reports, e.g. how-to guides • To assist in the implementation of new software packages Essential: • Helpdesk / customer service • Working knowledge of using Helpdesk logging software Desirable: • Microsoft Exchange 2010 • Active Directory, Group Policy • Windows 7/10 • Microsoft Office 2010 • iOS Mobile Devices • Experience of automation systems for deploying PC/Laptops • Backup Software Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.
