Overview
Operations Manager Permanent Full-time £40k - £45k Alton Part of the Management Team overseeing all processes and resources for the stores and SOP team ensuring company objectives and KPI's are achieved. Responsibility: Management of all processes from order input until dispatch of goods Handling and resolution of related complaints Active participation in customer service improvement to achieve company Net Promoter Score (NPS) target Create and maintain a zero-error culture employing best customer service practices to support the company's vision Management and procurement of all Company vehicles Ensuring KPI's are met Authority: Reports directly to the Managing Director Responsible for Order Processing and Logistics teams (8 staff) Must have - Qualification/Experience: SAP, Order Processing, Warehouse, distribution and logistics experience, Health & Safety Main Tasks: Order Processing Ensure all customer orders are processed efficiently and error free. Ensure all orders are processed systematically and on time Ensure SAP/CRM data is maintained and updated with correct customer discounts and customer details to facilitate efficient methods of working Oversee the orders on procurement platforms such as Amazon and Farnell Liaison with colleagues/partners in HQ regarding order processing topics Stores Maintain company stock levels in the most efficient and cost-effective way, ensuring that the receipt and dispatch of goods are completed in a timely fashion to support customers, sales and service Plan work flow to achieve aim of same day dispatch Plan consolidation of customer orders Manage staff to achieve efficient operation in all areas Manage couriers both domestic and trans-border Receive, unpack and check incoming repairs and new goods Check and record credits to customers Control logistics costs Import and Export of goods primarily to Germany but also Ireland and the Channel Islands Organise the annual company stock check in conjunction with the Finance and Service Manager Liaison with colleagues/partners in HQ regarding logistics topics Fleet Management: Acquisition of contract quotes Accurate recording of car details for P11D purposes Deal with insurance database (MID) and motor insurance related claims Deal with leasing and management companies Liaison with Company car owners/drivers on policies, procedures and guidelines Ensure Pool vehicles are maintained and kept in a clean and safe condition Health & Safety Take responsibility for all aspects of Health & Safety Ensure legal compliance with all regulations Ensure all employees are aware of, adhere to and have access to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
