Overview

We have an opportunity for a SENIOR LIFECYCLE MANAGER working for a high-profile Infrastructure Investor leading their whole life costing projects in the PFI/PPP Infrastructure asset sector. These interesting and complex assets include: large acute hospitals, significant school portfolios, student campuses & accommodation, energy and renewable projects etc. Opportunity to join a well-regarded, progressive yet friendly team with diverse projects. Role summary & benefits: Senior Asset Lifecycle Manager (whole-life costing) Home-based - any UK location considered Salary £55-75K (fully negotiable but dependant on experience) >30% Bonus excellent corporate benefits The role is suited to highly motivated candidates able to communicate strategic asset management, whole life costing and improvement projects to senior management audiences. The successful candidate will have the experience, drive and commercial awareness to pursue and exploit a growing pipeline of opportunities, encompassing whole life costing, technical due diligence, and strategic asset management. As Senior Lifecycle Manager you will facilitate the development of a growing and ambitious team. You will further help shape and define the development and utilisation of new systems and technologies to ensure the team continues to produce high quality and innovative deliverables to its clients. A typical week would include: Securing and effectively delivering superior quality Whole Life Costing and Asset Management to a variety of high-calibre internal and external clients. Taking project lead responsibility for the delivery of a range of projects across a variety of sectors, and encompassing whole life cost consulting, strategic asset management, and benchmarking and technical due diligence. Pursuing and develop the growing pipeline of opportunities within existing portfolios of projects in both the public and private sectors, and from the infrastructure industry andbeyond. Manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions including at senior strategic level. Interpret and convey complex technical data and concepts to lay audiences, ensuring our clients needs are met. Responsible for producing and proof-reading material, compiling bids and tenders, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and document control are maintained. Contribute to the continual improvement and efficiency in the Lifecycle Planning Team including seeking out innovative solutions to expand and consolidate newwork streams and improve overall team achievements. Act as a positive ambassador of the wider team in all commercial dealings, includingseeking out and securing new opportunities and promoting its reputation and brand in the wider industry. Act as a supportive and challenging mentor, coach and line manager working closely with the Lifecycle Planning Team and collaboratively with other team specialisms and the wider group functions We’d love to hear from you if you have: Either PFI/PPP experience in FM, SPV or Asset Management or an associated industry such as energy, renewables, utilities, telecoms etc. Strong track record of leading projects and small teams with strong communication skills. Whole life-costing / modelling experience. Ability to challenge information to ensure the interests of internal and external stake-holders are protected. Ability to operate at a strategic level, working with clients and various stakeholders towards a common goal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Builds effective working relationships with colleagues across the organisation. Ideally degree educated in a construction, planning, building surveying, RICS or Asset Management field.
