Overview
Connect2Kent are looking for a full time Customer Services Officer to work in Broadstairs in a busy team who provide a high quality technical support and administrative service to internal and external customers. Main duties and responsibilities: Handle customer enquiries effectively, and where possible at first point of contact, across a number of different services involving different methods of communication: face to face, telephone, letter and by email. Deal sensitively and manage challenging situations with difficult customers. Utilise accurate keyboard skills (e.g. accurate data input and retrieval). On behalf of the Client Financial Services Function support the day to day clerical and administrative functions of the teams, including the processing of all incoming and outgoing mail, received via post, mailbox and any related systems. Process sensitive data. You will be required to update systems utilised by the Client Financial Services Function and be liaising with a diverse range of customers in a friendly, professional and responsive manner. Signpost customers appropriately e.g. Internal Teams, Debt Management Advice, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Respond positively to individual, team and service objectives in line with performance standards and targets. Deal with confidential and sensitive information in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. To undertake any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role. Requirements: A BDS check is required for this post at a cost of £25 as you will be working with sensitive information.
