Overview

A national care provider is seeking an Area Manager for a range of Residential across Warrington & Lymm to oversee 6 adult learning disability residential services. This is a really exciting opportunity to join an innovative business who are continuously developing, and they need experienced managers to help bring their visions to life. This organisation is a specialist provider for adults & children with Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours & Autism. The provider also has a SEN school. They should be motivated to manage the 6 Service Managers, be able to demonstrate sound leadership and management skills and able to effectively manage change for the progression of the services and quality of care. They will also provide financial oversight and management for all service budgets. Salary £42,000 - £45,000 Full UK driving license is essential Key skills and Competencies: Strong care background, leadership skills and professionalism. Skilled and passionate about developing services collaboratively. Ideally someone who can start in 1 month. Ideally operational experience of managing services within Learning Disability / Mental Health services. RMA or NVQL4/5 in Leadership & Management is desirable (not essential). An ability to work effectively within a business planning and performance management environment. Strong experience working in adult residential services. At least 2 years Area Management experience in Residential Services. Experience of managing dispersed teams. Excellent communication skills and ability to work to deadlines. Awareness of marketing and brand management and its impact on business development. Somebody who can build good relationships easily - with commissioners, social workers etc. Ability to upkeep and improve the quality of the services - CQC and relevant bodies. Experience of liaising with Social Services and Local Authorities. Financial acumen (P&L, Management accounts information etc).
