Business Development Manager Redditch • Permanent • Full-time • £40-50,000 DOE Plus Bonus I am currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Business Development Manager, with knowledge and experience within the Air Conditioning industry for my client located in Redditch Business Development Manager to day duties are as follows: Identify and follow up on current and prospective sales opportunities. Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company and visit sites regularly to ensure customer satisfaction. Be actively involved in the process of business development to ensure continued and sustainable growth for the department and for the business as a whole. Establish continuous business relationships with new installation clients through the promotion of maintenance contracts and service opportunities by the branch. Responsible for ensuring profitability and attaining set targets for the department. Establish contact with customers, designers and contractors in order to select equipment suitable for their requirements, submit offers to trade and in the negotiation of contracts, ensuring professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly. Be proactive in assisting the Credit Control Department in the chasing of bad debts or resolving of queries. Efficient administration of sales documentation, including quotations and invoices. Offer design input on installation projects. Visit sites as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Comply with all other company policies and procedures as set out in the employee handbook or as specified. Perform any other reasonable duties commensurate with these responsibilities, the band of the post and skill and qualifications of the post-holder. The Successful Business Development Manager must have the following skills/experience Proven sales within HVAC is essential Customer relationship management experience within the construction/contracts industry Technical knowledge within the refrigeration and air conditioning field Able to work well with others as well independently A self- motivator with the ability to work independently and with initiative Understanding of and ability to deliver excellent customer service Good understanding of the sales process and dynamics Understanding of and commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service A self- motivator with the ability to work independently and with initiative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office/365 applications to intermediate level.
