3rd Line Support Engineer - the opportunity This is a great opportunity to join a busy, growing support team, working across a range of technologies including Windows, Exchange, Office 365, LAN/WAN. There's a great working environment, loads of tech to get your teeth into - including an increasing amount of Cloud services, plenty of training and lots of scope to progress. The role would suit someone already accustomed to working at 3rd-line level, or an experienced 2nd-line engineer who's ready to make the step up. 3rd Line Support Engineer - duties 3rd-line support across servers, desktops, networks, hosted environments etc Using a variety of tools to monitor and manage a range of systems Acting as point of escalation from other departments Supporting the introduction of new products and services 3rd Line Support Engineer - requirements Strong skills in Windows servers & desktops Experience in the wider Microsoft product set: Office 365, Exchange etc A decent grasp of networking: routers, firewalls etc Knowledge of virtualisation (VMWare or Hyper-V, ideally) Some exposure to Cloud services (AWS, Azure etc) Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89749964
