Overview
This is a PAYE role for a period of 12 months minimum Central Employment are currently working with a global pharmaceutical client who are working on a large scale changeover project, looking at processes and tools that have been passed down by the global teams, and assessing the appropriateness for their environment (server and client),managing the deployment process. I'm looking for candidates with experience of working with enterprise clients as an IT Analyst who are used to communicating with 3rd parties and working through a list of projects once delegated. Key Duties (Example live projects) Ensures effective collaboration with all IT colleagues Support all IT security software deployment after assessing function and usability 2nd line support for the business including escalations Looking at existing manufacturing systems and assessing upgrade requirements Running test system deployments to check for issues in site wide changeover Liaising with 3rd parties in Europe to roll out bespoke tools to air-gapped servers Imaging old legacy machines on the shop floor to new virtualised estate Supporting the migration of current VMware estate to a more modern platform Support and update systems lifecycle documentation Running test scripts that are well compiled for all stake holders in the IT estate Essential Requirements Experience supporting infrastructure including servers, switches and desktop environments 3 years relevant experience Experience assessing and implementing change in enterprise environments Strong Analyst skills taken from similar employment, assessing suitability of handed down software from centralised teams Changeover of machines Experience of windows 10 environments Experience of virtualisation technologies especially VMware within enterprise business Shares knowledge and enforces compliance with IT systems development life cycle Experience dealing with a highly regulated site, with good process and best practice knowledge This is a PAYE role for a period of 12 months minimum In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs.
