Overview

Compliance Manager £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) Canterbury, Kent KESS Insurance Recruitment is pleased to be working with a large and rapidly expanding Insurance Organisation. The objective of this role is to provide compliance, risk advice and guidance to the company directors and staff, ensuring risks and issues across the business are identified and rectified. Ensure FOS and customer complaints are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Duties and responsibilities include: To set up, monitor and maintain adequate and appropriate systems and controls to ensure that the company meets its regulatory requirements. To manage the regulatory requirements stemming from the FCA regulations relating to insurance activities. To produce the compliance plan for the company to ensure it is managed in accordance with the company objectives. To provide advice and guidance as necessary on any parts of the FCA compliance plan and to report progress to the Directors of the company on a regular basis. Enhance and maintain a compliance culture. Represent compliance at relevant meetings and committees both internally and externally. Adhere to FCA principles and act as a role model for the company. Action FOS/Customer complaints. To set up, monitor and maintain company policies and procedures using suitable software as directed by the CEO. This would include both the operational and the compliance procedures although HRM / Directors would be responsible to act on any negative/positive actions arising from that system. Oversee, evolve and manage the company audit process. Assist the CEO with planning future strategies and perhaps assist in deployment. Work with the CEO on Occasional Ad hoc projects to brainstorm appropriate ways of deployment. Assist the CEO where relevant with routine legal requirements, contracts and compliance working together.
