Overview
We are currently recruiting for our client based in Knaresborough town centre who are looking for an Enquiries and Customer Care Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and supportive company. You will be responsible for dealing with inbound enquiries, providing information on a range of products and benefits. You will be putting together costings and following up to discuss with the customer. You will also be dealing with memberships and retentions, so it is important you have an extremely confident telephone manner and previous telephony experience. The company offer excellent benefits including a generous pension scheme, discretionary bonus paid 6 monthly, annual pay reviews, 20 days holiday plus 2 discretionary days, salary between £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience and on-site car parking. Responsibilities will include: Handing both incoming and outbound calls from customers Calls include: Enquiries / Retention / Specific Mailings / Year-Ago’s Discussing detailed products over the telephone and via email, within eligibility and terms of membership parameters; Listening and interpreting information given, open questioning and summarising/recapping to establish next steps; Influencing and negotiating within a Financial Conduct Authority regulated environment; Logging all information on internal CRM system and high level of MS Outlook skill (email, word, excel); Setting up New Business; Working as part of a close and supportive team and the wider organisation. Ideal experience: Exceptional listening and relationship building skills within a customer service/sales role – ideally telephone/call centre environment; Some level of insurance / compliance experience would be advantageous; Use of CRM systems & MS Outlook; The working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm.
