Back-End Developer - remote working - PHP, SQL, MVC - To £45,000 bens A brand new opportunity to join an innovative organisation and assist in the ongoing development of their B2B portal. This employer is based in Bath but are happy for applicants to work from home, attending the office one day per week. A starting salary of £35,000 - £45,000 benefits is offered. This employer develop a web portal and provide specialist advisory and support services to business customers, giving them access to a wider range of client opportunities. Due to growth within their online client base they are now seeking a Back-End Developer to lead the ongoing evolution of their search and delivery web platform. This role will see the successful applicant working alongside a Front-End Developer to add features to meet use cases and user pain points, fix bugs and developing integrations with 3rd party applications. You will already have solid PHP development skills along with experience of at least one MVC framework (this employer uses Symfony 4, but specific experience of this is not essential) and relational databases such as MySQL. ideally you will also have some exposure to SOAP, RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems via APIs. If you also have front-end experience then this would be beneficial but is not essential.
