Overview

Harvey McQueen are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join one of our rapidly growing clients based on the outskirts of Bolton. Key responsibilities for this role will include: Ensuring all purchase ledger activity is conducted in line with SOX compliance Matching, batching and coding invoices (three way match) Reconciling supplier statements Resolving any supplier quires i.e. price queries Processing and scanning a high volume of both UK and International invoices Management of all employee expenses including Barclaycard claims Process monthly payment runs, both UK and International Ad-hoc duties may occur as and when required by management General office duties On average dealing with 300 vendor invoices per month and 500 Barclaycard claims Requirements: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel - including V Lookups and Pivot tables Clear and concise communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to build relationships with suppliers Organised Able to prioritise workload Experience with Navision platform would be advantageous but not essential Approachable, friendly and hardworking Benefits: Competitive Salary 25 days annual leave Free on-site parking Pension scheme Hours of Work and Pay details: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm One hour lunch break £18k - £20k per annum The successful candidate will have the desire to progress in a dynamic organisation offering excellent career opportunities.
