Broadly speaking the role will be responsible for Office Management, Candidate Engagement and supporting the Managing Director with various activities which affect the business. About Us Our business has continually and substantially grown during its first 5 years, and we are now looking to add experience and expertise to the team in order to take us to the next level. As the Office Manager, it’s an exciting time to be part of the business, and as you can imagine with any small, start-up operation, you will be expected to be highly adaptable and wear different hats at different times, there is plenty of scope for personal and professional growth. We are building our reputation within the Aerospace, Technical Engineering and Business Support sectors here in Scotland, across the UK as well as the Middle East. About the Job As Office Manager , you will report directly to the business owner providing your knowledge and expertise and ensuring the recruitment operation is running as efficiently as possible. The purpose of this role , will be to provide administrative expertise to a small team in the Glasgow office, ranging from email management, invoice generation and processing payments to managing phone lines, speaking to drop-in customers and answering queries. The key focus will be Office Management and Customer Service, but there will also be a requirement to support the Resourcing activities of the business, which may include speaking with candidates, inputting data to the applicant tracking system or handling payroll related enquiries. About the Person To succeed in this role as Office Manager , you will need to balance a variety of different tasks and prioritise effectively. You will also have a clear focus on high-quality service to external and internal stakeholders. As a natural forward planner, you will be to identify and deal with potential issues quickly and effectively through good organisation and excellent communication skills. Given the variety of different tasks, you will be expected to undertake, your adaptability, positive outlook will be important attributes as will your competence in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications. The Reward The rewards for this Office Manager position are competitive and includes an annual salary of circa £25k to £28k profit share and medical insurance.
