Overview
Senior Java Engineer sought to join a well-funded FinTech startup in central London. We are revolutionising the finance sector with our groundbreaking API platform which allows financial enterprises to connect effortlessly to Banks by a single API. After raising a sizeable round of funding we are now looking to grow the IT teams across the board with multiple positions available. The role will see you joining a team of seven developers to design, develop and deploy API's for the end-users to consume data from multiple sources. You will also work alongside the product team and company leaders to ensure all of their customer's requirements are met to the highest of standard and create and execute new software roadmaps to enhance the companies offering. The CTO is looking to double the engineering team by the end of the year and this role offers the opportunity to step up into a lead/manager position. So what do you need to be successful? The platform is built on Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate so you will need to display strong Java experience building large scale platforms and API connections. Candidates with experience using DevOps tools and practices such as Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud exposure (AWS or Google Cloud) will be strongly encouraged to apply as this will help your application to the top of the pile. You will also have experience working in a startup environment ideally in the FinTech or Open Banking space.
