Location - London Salary - £50,000 Blakemore Recruitment are assisting a well established Wealth Management firm recruit for their next team memeber - RV Technical Assistant/Senior Paraplanner This role is to work directly for one of the directors and carry out a dual role of EA and senior paraplanner. The practice deals with HNW wealth management and the service levels given to clients must be of exceptional standards. The practice has a team of 6 advisers supported by 5 admin and paraplanners. The role includes but is not limited to : Management of diary and relationship liaison with clients Management of pipeline which includes - writing to providers for information - analysis of portfolios and funds - submission and investment of business onto platform - rebalancing portfolios using CGT and ISA allowances - prepping paperwork for client meetings - use of cash flow modelling. The ideal candidate needs to be able to calculate income tax, chargeable gains, CGT and IHT correctly and be up to date with relevant tax allowances. you will need to personable, confident and have the ability to think outside of the box in preparing solutions for clients. You also need to be able to use your own initiative and work on multiple cases at once. You should also be able to work within a team although your role is specifically to support the director. You should be competent is the use of spreadsheets, Cash flow modelling is through Voyant, full training will be given. Salary is between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
