Overview
My client is a global print solutions company and they are looking for an experienced print operator to join their team in Bristol The job role is to produce agreed daily output to a defined standard of quality, minimising machine downtime and stoppages so that the productivity of your Machine can be maximised this will enable you to Plan and organise your workload on your machine to ensure we meet our SLA Duties and Responsibilities Own and Report and Health and Safety matters immediately to Management using the near miss system. Set and operate printing equipment as and when required and produce output volume`s in line with requirements on a daily basis. Objective is to achieve daily production targets. Report any print machine issues or concerns to on site engineer support / Production 2 Manager/ Team Leader in a timely manner. Work in line with the production plan to ensure the output produced conforms to company requirements and client specification. Monitor and Report any issues that may affect the quality of printed output, by checking output regularly. Follow company procedures for safe removal of waste inks and materials from printers To assist the Kodak engineers with weekly machine service. To complete all necessary documentation to provide key performance indicator information on productivity, quality and reconciliation Minimise paper waste by efficiencies in machine operation, attention to detail and actively seeking methods to reduce waste To keep the work area clean and tidy at all times and comply with health and safety regulations Ensure a clear and precise handover is given to the oncoming shift Actively promote and demonstrate a positive and "can do" attitude by providing effective leadership. The shift pattern is a rolling 4 on 4 off days and nights
