Overview
My client is a scholarly association within the charity sector. It serves the political science community and has a European-wide membership. They are currently recruiting for a full-stack developer using C# .Net, based at its head office in Colchester. This key role within the IT Department, is to develop new features and to upgrade existing functionality to meet the needs of the organisation's internal users and external customers. The post holder will have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as specialist knowledge and expertise in the following areas: software development practices and processes, software development using C# and the .Net framework, MVC, WebForms, Javascript, T-SQL and database management. Assist with the planning of incoming work and tracking of work items using MS DevOps. Ensure all code is tested, meets coding standards and is maintainable. Person Specification Experience of developing and supporting commercial website projects. Very strong knowledge of web technologies including: C# .NET MVC Entity Framework WebForms Javascript, JQuery T-SQL HTML 5 CSS and Bootstrap
