Web Applications Developer (C#, ASP.Net MVC) - Colchester - £30,000 to £38,000 - Ref: J2399 We have a new position for a Web Applications Developer in Colchester. The successful candidate will be joining a small team who are responsible for creating and maintaining bespoke Web Applications and mobile products. As well as a great working environment, the company offer a casual dress code, flexi time and remote working options for up to 3 days a week. Key responsibilities: Provide input on application specifications Implement provided specifications to company standards Peer review of other team members work for quality control Maintain the highest standard of security of web applications Essential Skills: Experience in developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC framework Experience in developing web applications using HTML, CSS and jQuery. Good written English for documentation Desirable skills: Entity Framework Experience with Visual Studio Team Services or Team Foundation Server Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio Knowledge of Azure cloud Knowledge of Xamarim.Forms for mobile app development Experience in the Financial Services / Insurance industry Interested applicants should contact Michael Johnson of Venables Parsons Search & Selection (VPss).
