Excellent Junior Python Engineer

This role is looking for a junior backend python software engineer to sit in their IT team in Oxford. My client is a leading provider of mobile healthcare assistance and they're looking for someone to work closely with their IT team of varied experienced professionals. The Role This role would suit an exceptional graduate or someone with 1-3 years industry experience working with Python, Linux and Git. The main responsibilities of the role include development and design of backend solutions, working with testing and implementation of their software solutions. You will be working closely with their R&D team, DevOps engineers and IT Managers. Essential Skills Relevant industry work or a BSc/MSc in Computer Science Sound knowledge of Python coding Proficient in using Git operations Experience working with Linux and Linux Shells e.g. Bash/Kernel Experience using Docker Desired Skills Working with Big Data Models Django/Flask web development frameworks Pandas or Numpy library experience Continuous Integration technologies such as Jenkins, Circle or Azure Pipelines The role is based in Harwell with a competitive salary looking for someone who wants to make a big difference in a small team doing some pioneering work.
