Overview
Qualified In-House Lawyer Weybridge Surrey Location £60,000-£80,000 bonus depending on experience Our client a global technology services firm is currently looking to hire an in-huose qualified Lawyer. The legal department and this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services, advice and support to all areas across the business UK and EU wide. Requirements: To be able to provide a quick, responsive, and detailed legal service in relation to contractual issues and queries as well as to provide legal guidance and services to general legal issues and queries in relation to the business Ability to efficiently draft and review contracts and contract related documentation. Ability to give clear and concise explanations regarding legal issues to internal business clients. Ability to participate and support negotiations along-side internal business clients. Ability and skill to effectively and efficiently utilize and manage outside counsel when necessary. Overall management of contractual transactions and litigations. Ability to fully understand the company’s internal legal process and to convey such process to the relevant internal business clients. Be able to provide compliance trainings to ensure that employees are compliant with regard to various relevant regulations. To keep management and internal business clients abreast of all new laws and regulations that may have implications to the company, which includes but is not limited to, GDPR laws and regulations. Ability to provide general legal advice and counsel with regard to UK as well as general as well as general European law with regard to projects and other business in relation to the company. Experience Required: 2-5 or more years PQE Admitted to a recognized bar association, preferably UK or other EU jurisdiction. Should be able to have the ability to create strong relationships with all key liaisons as well as internal business clients. Be able to strive in a team-work focused environment. Be able to handle various matters in parallel. Be able to provide and find fast, efficient, flexible and creative viable solutions to a broad spectrum of issues regarding the company. Strong communication skills. Ability to efficiently manage a large workload
