Overview

IT Support Engineer Position: Contract Hourly rate: £9.00 an hour Location: Birmingham City Centre We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to support the business on a temporary basis - to ensure that they end-users have an effective experience. The day-to-day responsibilities will be from setting up our new joiners to diagnosing and resolving more technical issues. With support from your team manager you'll form part of our 1st line team dealing with a wide range of queries on a daily basis. Technical requirements and experience: - Previous experience working in Support/service desk position - Active Directory knowledge - Experience supporting Office 365 - Network - DNS / DHCP / TCP/IP - Hands on experience with Server 2012 through to 2019 - Operating Systems and Services - A good understanding of Networks, Routers, Firewalls and WiFi Engineers Responsibilities: - Provide first line support to our people ensuring great customer service - Diagnose and resolve technical issues keeping customers up to date at all times - Report and track faults through our Helpdesk system - Resolve as many issues at first escalation point - Setting up and configuring new hardware and software - Basic network troubleshooting - Ensuring all logs for equipment and users are maintained including licensing If this opportunity is suitable for you and you are technically matched, please apply for a further confidential conversation.
