The rate of pay is £8.72 per hour. You will work fixed shifts, and the hours of work are: - 5:45am to 2pm - Monday to Friday Your time at work As a Manufacturing Operative at this site, your duties may include, but are not limited to: - Manufacture bulk products from a variety of raw materials - Dispense raw materials following Product Formula Sheets - Unload bulk products and calculate yields - Ensure batches are produced on time, and in accordance to product specifications and standards - Operate electric powered pallet/stacker truck - Ensure documentation is accurately maintained and relevant information communicated as appropriate - Liaise with other departments to organise storage of finished batches when necessary This role requires moderate physical fitness as it includes lifting, bending and the operation of basic manual handling. Our perfect worker Our ideal Manufacturing Operative is a multi-tasker who follows verbal and written instructions accurately, with attention to detail. You should be able to organise and prioritise your workload and work proactively using your own initiative. A moderate level of literacy and numeracy is required, and you must be willing to learn and implement Health and Safety measures and GMP. Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not necessary as full training is provided.
