Overview
A motivated Production Operator is required for our market-leading manufacturing client based near Andover in Hampshire to operate their complex process machinery equipment and keep accurate data supporting the teams. This exciting role would suit a production professional with good production line / previous production experience ideally from a food / beverage / healthcare manufacturing industry. In return there is a good salary package (circa £20k-£21500) dependent on skills and experience plus the chance to work for a fast growing, well established and highly reputable company. Apply now This is a full time permanent role with working hours of 40 hours per week 8:00am to 4:40pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunchbreak. Please note you will need a driving licence to get to the sites in this role. Reporting into the Production Supervisor, the ideal production operator will have the following skills and experiences; Previous production line / production operator experience (basic machine operating and packing, machine set up, cleaning and operation, box and pack materials, picking and packing Production / manufacturing industry experience within the food, pharmaceutical healthcare industries adhering to strict Food Hygiene rules and Health & Safety practices, GMP guidelines, food safety standards Previous experience as a production operator in a highly regulated manufacturing industry such as production, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food, beverage, process manufacturing or similar Good numeracy and literacy and attention to detail is essential Any food hygiene knowledge, skills or training will be advantageous (eg Food Hygiene certificate, BRC, COSSH / HACCP knowledge) A driving licence and car to get to the sites in this role is required. · You must have excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy as you will be dealing with warehouse quality, production orders, quality control and packaging. Desirable: Ideally a Chemical industry background / knowledge or experience of dealing with mixing, process, handling of raw materials, chemicals and liquids- if you have not got mixing you must have good numeracy and ability to measure and mix liquids for the machines, you must be able to deal with quantities and measuring To apply please email your cv with salary expectations and availability and how you meet our clients criteria for this exciting production role.
