Senior Design Engineer Basic Salary up to £52,000 Excellent Benefits including healthcare & pension Holiday buy and sell scheme Office based - South West London My client is a world leading project design consultancy. As part of their continued success in securing projects throughout the UK, they are now looking for a Senior Design Engineer. The role will sit within their building design unit and is a fantastic opportunity to take on a range of exciting projects. You will be responsible for seeing the project through from initial client meetings to project delivery. Other key responsibilities include: Face to face client meetings to discuss projects briefs Conduct specification and design calculations on new and existing installations Prepare CAD drawings for the wider design team Sit surveys to manage project delivery and installation Candidate Requirements: Senior Design Engineer To be considered for this role you MUST have over 5 years’ experience in the design of vertical transportation (VT) such as lifts or escalators. You will also have: Experience working within a design consultancy or contract design environment Degree qualified in an engineering discipline such as electrical or mechanical engineering Detailed knowledge of relevant technical standards Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
