Overview
Senior Java Developer Our client, based in Cambridge, is expanding at a phenomenal rate due to new clients win. As a result, they require two Senior Java Developer's to join their agile team. Our client operates on a global scale and partner with some of the leading technology vendors in the world. Joining the team, your focus will be the core technology of the company's products, you will predominately be working with Java on the back end, be exposed to front end tech and involved in the full development lifecycle. To be considered for this role, you will be skilled with the following: Strong Java development skills. Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills using standard tooling (e.g. VisualVM, MAT, jps, jstack, jstat etc). Passionate about continuous improvement. Experience with Git. Experience with build tooling, Maven or Gradle. Agile Software Development experience of Scrum or Kanban. Self-motivated team player with strong problem solving and communication skills. Ideally, you will be skilled with: Java EE. Developing SOAP and REST API's. Experience with continuous integration servers. Experience with web front-end development (AngularJS, Angular or DOJO).
