To support our continuing success and ensure we continue to produce the highest standard of products, we are now seeking a Production Section Manager to join us at our state-of-the-art site in Alconbury. You will be able to gain experience right across our operations, growing your expertise in new areas such as HR processes and development. Your Role As the Production Section Manager, you will lead the team to deliver a quality and customer-focused packing operation. Acting as a role model to the team, you will develop and motivate staff, encouraging them to perform at their best and consistently achieve KPIs. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, your other duties will include: - Ensuring all company requirements regarding the safety, quality and legality of products are adhered to - Completing training for MM Flowers employees and agency workers - Supporting the development of Standard Operating Procedures - Working in collaboration with HR including conducting disciplinary meetings and absence meetings About You To join us as our Production Section Manager you will need: - Previous supervisory experience and management of a team - Experience within a fresh produce, food production or FMCG environment - The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude - A strong customer focus Experience with Rubicon ERP system would be beneficial, as would behavioural safety training. Manufacturing for UK Retailers training would also be an advantage, as would an understanding of Lean manufacturing implementations.
