Overview

Our prestigious client based in the dairy industry is looking for 2 Technician Engineers for an immediate start at their PR4 workshop. A successful candidate will be assisting in the manufacture of innovative dairy service plant and machinery, specifically in manufacture and assembly, transportation, installation and servicing. Our client wants to promote an adapting and multi-skilled workforce, so regularly rotates employees between on and off-site duties, processes and departments to maximise employee skill sets, whilst avoiding workloads becoming monotonous. Whilst our client has advised that NVQ’s and City and Guilds accreditation/qualifications are not a necessity, they would still be advantageous. Experience and knowledge in the below fields will be important for applicant success: - Welding Plumbing Electrical Mechanical Fitting Due to the nature of the products sold, employees are regularly called out of the workshop to visit Farms and Diary Production companies, around the country, for the Servicing, Maintenance and Installation of the plant and equipment - On this basis a full driving license is essential. In addition to UK based call-outs, our client accommodates the requirements of companies all across the world and opens up the opportunity of a minimum of 2 clients visits, annually, for each of his employees. Whilst the majority of Sales work is headed up by a two-man team, there is an opportunity for sales work and business development, which comes with commission earnings, for enthusiastic and driven individuals. Due to the expansion of the company, in addition to the innovative thinking of the company, a successful candidate would possess a certain attitude and work ethos over a specific skill set so to be able to adapt with the companies change. Furthermore, as the products manufactured are niche and bespoke our client has identified a 12 month period to fully develop the desired skill set and expertise, offering in house training and progression. A successful candidate should possess the below attributes: - Enthusiastic and positive Adaptable and Quick to Learn Attention to detail Tenacity to learn new skills A willingness to improve and become a technical expert Be accountable and take pride in their work Robust and tolerance for stress Interpersonal skills in dealing with both current and prospect clients A drive for success Shifts Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30 Remuneration 12 week temp to perm £10.00/hour Following the completion of their Temp to Perm Assignment, rate of pay Subject to review based on performance and development of skills and expertise.
