Production Manager Modular Construction
Overview
Production Manager – Modular Construction / Construction products / affiliated manufacturing £To be discussed Preston Working with an offsite manufacturer of modular buildings you will report to the Director and work closely with other senior management taking full responsibility for the entire output of the factory. You will lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. You will be given full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements. Duties will include: - • Day to day management of all output at the factory • Scheduling all production and liaising with Team Leaders and others • Ensuring goods and materials are available for production as required • Keeping the factory running smoothly, economically and identifying efficiencies with a view to implementing with the full "buy in" from your team • Management of the procurement process • Managing a motivated and committed workforce, together with adhering to health, safety and quality standards • Management of quality control procedure, and regular reporting/ inspecting The Ideal Candidate:- • Experienced Production Manager who understands manufacturing for the construction industry or affiliated products • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies • Strong communicator, able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy where required • Able to maintain appropriate boundaries while still being approachable to all your team • Outstanding organisation, planning and prioritising skills
