Overview
Contek are working with a small, precision engineering company in the Aycliffe area - who produce various parts to sub-contract sectors including offshore, ultrasonic and building products. As a CNC Miller or a Turner Programmer, your duties will include; Programming and Operating CNC Milling machines using Hurco Controls (Or Transferrable Skills on similar operating systems) Working to tight tolerances Using 3/4-axis machines Making a number of precison components from 1-Offs - 10-Offs. The Candidate: To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following; Strong experience Programming - Hurco (Or Similar) Training provided Confidently able to write own programmes from scratch Able to read and work to technical drawings 3/4 axis experience Able to work unsupervised Experience working with mainly aluminium, plastic, mild steels and stainless. Day shift - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm on a Friday. Overtime: As and when and open on Saturdays.
