Overview
We are looking for a PCV Fitter to take on a great opportunity to form part of a Transportation company, which provides local and urban transport services across the north of England. The business prides itself for its high standards and for being a people-focused and a ready to serve company. They operate mainly in the transportation industry. As a PCV Fitter you will be in charge of: · Supporting the maintenance of the company’s fleet of Buses and Coaches. · Carrying out fault diagnosis, repairs and servicing to industry standards. · Getting the company’s vehicles ready for the annual test. · Taking the time to self-improve with relevant training courses to perform the tasks in a safe manner. · Inspection of buses and coaches for their regular maintenance schedule and assisting with vehicle breakdowns when needed. The Company will be interested in Interviewing candidates who have 3 years of previous experience in PCV maintenance. Other Requirements: · PCV Licence is a plus but not essential · Mechanical know-how is essential and electrical is a plus. · Working according to health and safety standards. The successful PCV Fitter will benefit from a full-time permanent position (Mon-Fri from 6-2 & 2-10 weekly rotating shift) at a great company with an annual salary of £24k as well as other benefits.
