Overview
Quality Control Inspector First Call Contract Services are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector for our clients busy operation based in Corby, NN17. This role will report into the QA Manager and will be supporting the technical team and production team ensuring compliance and policies are adhered to at all times as well as ensuring products are of the desired standard. This role is being recruited for on a shift basis, working 4 on 4 off. This opportunity is being recruited for on a permanent basis. Immediate interviews are available. Candidate duties will include: · Checking finished goods meet quality standards · Carrying out on line checks in all production areas, reporting any non-conformity to production and QM. · Ensuring operators are completing their paperwork and checks correctly · Carrying out routing material testing including tensile and dart · Updating production records for specific customers Candidate experience will include: · Ability to use a tape measure and micrometre accurately · Testing machines, i.e. tensile and dart Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel; word and outlook · Strong organisational and time management skills · Have worked in a production environment Hours or work are Sunday to Saturday, working 4 on 4 off-times TBC (days) Starting salary is £21kpa excellent company benefits.
