An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. The manufacturing engineer is responsible for leading and deploying the best practices by taking initiative to support continuous improvement in various manufacturing processes. You will be working towards achieving the manufacturing goals and objectives of the organisation. You will lead, facilitate, execute and manage projects to reduce the costs significantly by implementing Lean, and Six Sigma tools and methodologies. You will use your expertise to identify and recommend improvements by applying the relevant principles. You will be required to analyse not right first time data to focus on areas that require process improvement. Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing engineers or production support role The ability to read engineering drawings Good knowledge of new product introduction, process improvement and setting up manufacturing lines Knowledge of different continuous improvement techniques is highly beneficial (Six Sigma, 8d, 5s, Kaizen, SPP, VSM, JIT, Kanban etc) Package: Up to £35,000 with an extremely competitive benefits package We operate & advertise as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions
