Applications Engineer - Electronic Hardware & Software

Do you have an Electronic Hardware and Software background and are seeking a customer focused role where you can respond to diverse technical queries and will play a key part in new product creation? Within this thriving High-Technology Company you’ll focus on the company’s developing markets such as Defence, Drones and Aerospace. Some International travel will be required for approximately 4-6 weeks per year. The ideal Applications Engineer will bring the following skills and experience: A Minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience with applications support for a high technology manufactured product within an International customer facing environment. Good knowledge of electronic hardware and software. Some knowledge of sensor interfacing and digital and analogue communication systems. The ability to communicate clearly with a range of people. This rewarding Applications Engineer role is a great opportunity for a bright Engineer who is not seeking to get involved with design, but will focus on trouble shooting and solving complex technical problems. A salary up to £45K will be offered, with benefits to include a non-contributory pension scheme.
