Overview

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a clean environment for those who are less abled, then join the team as a Housekeeper. You will work 37.5 hours a week at Rhodes Wood Hospital Working alongside the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. You will be responsible for reporting any damages or faults that you may find to your manager. Role - Housekeeper Location - Hatfield, Hertfordshire Salary - £18,135 - £18993 Hours - 37.5, Full-Time (Shift Work) Your Responsibilities: Ensuring the standards of cleanliness are maintained Ensuring an effective cleaning service is provided by the household team and that this is documented effectively Providing and maintaining a good level of cleanliness for the unit Ensuring all documentation relating to any housekeeping roles is completed and correct Regularly checking that all of the housekeeping duties are carried out to a high standard Communicating appropriately with others involved with the care of the patient Carrying out any reasonable instructions of the Health and Safety lead Reporting any equipment malfunction to the Health and Safety lead Ensuring that you are familiar with all of Elysium Healthcare's policies and procedures To be successful in this role, you will: Experience of working within a care home/hospital environment Ability to communicate and work as part of a team. Shepherds Way, Hatfield AL9 6NN Join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders or with learning disabilities who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person. You will support a warm and nurturing environment, allowing for the understanding of symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress, and will actively encourage children to personalise bedroom spaces to make these feel like a home from home. There is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital. Rhodes Wood Hospital is located on the outskirts of Hatfield, which is easily reachable by car.
