Interim Head of Performance, Research & Intelligence Local Authority within East Sussex based in Lewes 6 month temporary role (potential of being ongoing) £650 P/D Umbrella (Inside IR35) Full Time Please only apply if you have: Dealt with Change Management Public Health experience Stakeholder engagement experience Team management experience Interim Lead of Performance, Research & Intelligence - Recruitment Brief The focus of the interim period will be on the establishment of the new team and the formation of the Community of Practice, as well as providing direct management of the function over what will inevitably be a challenging time for local government. For this interim role the key skills and abilities are: Strong, visible and positive leadership, relationship-building and team-building skills with a proven ability to forge and manage complex public and private partnerships (team-building skills will be particularly important as a focus of the interim period will be to bring the corporate and public health teams together in a new team - this would require good change management and leadership skills in ordinary circumstances but will be even more challenging given Coronavirus restrictions). Strategic thinker, with the ability to identify critical issues and formulate programmes of work that respond to these issues and ensure their effective implementation. Ability to critically evaluate and influence policy development and strategic/operational decision-making through analysis of performance and research Thorough understanding of the context of and developments relating to: organisational and public health intelligence, including duties eg the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment corporate planning and performance management, notably with a focus on outcomes Strong understanding of research methods and the ability to generate new and innovative approaches to research and intelligence please note only successful candidates will be contacted Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
