Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of East Locality Practice Development team supporting nursing across the High Weald, Lewes and Havens (HWLH) area. The Practice Development Nurse posts have been developed to provide support and expertise to community and inpatient nursing staff across HWLH. The post holders will build on the success of the core skills training in SCFT and help to standardise its use across the Trust, engaging with all staff, challenging and developing clinical staff, and working closely with the Operational Team Leads and Ward Managers to ensure that the community nursing blueprint is successfully implemented and safer staffing models are maintained within the community/intermediate care units. The successful applicants will have extensive experience in community/inpatient nursing and will ensure teams deliver the principles of Right People, Right Skills, Right Place, and Right Time, enhancing the patient experience. We are looking for candidates with specialist knowledge who demonstrate strong clinical, leadership and communication skills, are innovative and flexible, and committed to evidence-based working.
