INTERIM Site Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager 3 month Interim contract, possible extension Location: Oldham area , Heywood , perfect for M62, M66 access Our client is a category leading FMCG manufacturing company Due to CHANGE, there is an immediate hire for a senior warehousing and supply chain manager / professional on an interim basis, leading a team of 40 and retailer supply of FMCG products. As a Senior INTRERIM Warehouse Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the drive and tool box to lead a large team of 40, including the warehouse, materials management, outbound retailer delivery in a fast paced environment, actually in excess of 30,000 units a day Does this sound like you? Development of structured reporting and insightful MI to support good decision-making Development and implementation of processes Implementing and developing Workforce Performance tools to support genuine productivity improvements You’ll manage all areas of our supply chain and warehousing function You’ll shape the in-house warehousing strategy, set the direction for your team and drive continuous improvement standards An enthusiastic and tenacious leader with demonstrable experience of developing high-performing teams Experience of working within a supply chain environment is essential, several of those gained in leadership roles in warehousing and distribution in FMCG or fast paced manufacturing Previous experience of managing and leading teams is essential – this is a people leadership role driving customer service excellence and lowest cost manufacturing.
